About our 2022 Camping Gear Awards

Our awards are about helping you decide how to spend your hard-earned money and this year we are celebrating the tenth anniversary of the UK's most prestigious family camping awards.

Unlike some awards, manufacturers don't pay to have their products included, we consider them purely on their merit.

In our annual gear awards, we recognise the new accessories that have made the biggest impression on us over the last 12 months and the products we think will make a big improvement to your camping life this year.

Trying to pick the winners in our annual accessory awards is a genuinely hard task. But some products do stand out from the rest. From classic camping cookers to cots for camping canines, this is the 2022 gear that has impressed us most.

They say if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, but they don’t say anything about not improving it. The Camp’Bistro stove certainly ain’t broke but it has undergone a significant makeover for 2022, which somehow makes this camping kit classic even better.
