Why the Robens Settler Field?
As you might expect from a Scandinavian brand with German roots, Robens tents look fantastic and come with technical tent-level spec. The Settler Field, the latest addition to the popular Outback range, is no exception.
This is a retro-style bell tent with huge windows and mesh side panels that provide great panoramic views from inside the spacious living area. The breathable HydroTex polycotton fabric looks, feels and even smells the part – giving the tent that authentic old-school glamping feel without compromising on performance.
It looks amazing, but this is not just about design aesthetics. Robens uses the latest manufacturing techniques and materials to create a robust tent that is guaranteed to keep you dry and warm, no matter the conditions.
With one central pole, it’s dead easy to pitch and there is plenty of headroom inside to comfortably stand upright.
The extra-wide A-frame door design has three vertical zips that give you different access and ventilation options, while the windows and mesh panels are backed by height-adjustable curtains to give more privacy.
And in addition to the mesh panels, there is adjustable apex ventilation, controlled by ingenious pull cords, and further ventilation in the back wall.
The groundsheet in the living space unzips to the centre, allowing you to fold it back to create a wet area or somewhere for the safe use of a tent stove.
For a cosier set-up you can buy an optional inner, to create defined bedrooms.
