Heading to the Motorhome and Caravan Show this week? Here are just some of the highlights you won’t want to miss…

The Motorhome and Caravan Show takes place at Birmingham’s NEC from 18-23 October. Spanning 11 halls, it’s one of the best places to see the latest motorhome, caravan, campervan and accessories launches from manufacturers across the globe – as well as the winners of this year’s eagerly anticipated Motorhome and Campervan Awards 2023, in association with leading consumer finance provider, Creation, and the Caravan Awards 2023.

But at an outdoor leisure show this big, where do you start? Here are some exciting launches and never-seen-before motorhome, campervan and caravan models that you won’t want to miss..

Motorhomes and campervans

Hymer’s new Venture S comes to the UK for the first time following its launch at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf earlier this year – it’s a brand-new model, comprehensively equipped as an off-roader for two people. The Venture S is packed with innovations, including the Instant Loft – a pneumatic pop-top roof, which includes a true staircase, and an integrated home office concept. See it on stand 20.35. Read more about the Hymer Venture S here.

Bürstner's new Trafic-based Playa C 500 Limited Edition campervan will also be making its UK debut at the show. Based on the short-wheelbase Renault, this pop-top camper comes with the classic side kitchen layout. But that's not all for the German manufacturer, as the Lyseo Gallery (with its supersized expaning overcab), Lyseo I Harmony Line and Lyseo TD Harmony Line will also be making their UK debut on stand 20.60. Read more about the new models from Bürstner here.

Vantage Motorhomes (stand 11.16) will be unveiling its first pop-top campervan range. There are two four-berth models based on the Ford SWB Transit Custom. Read more about the new range here.

Auto-Sleepers (stand 8.25) will be presenting its updated range of coachbuilt motorhomes and campervans. Though there are no new models for 2023, the manufacturer has improved its current ranges with the addition of a 19.5in full HD Smart TV and 2 x 10W sound bar, plus a new WiFi system from Avtex, while all coachbuilts will receive a new Truma iNet X Control Panel with Bluetooth connectivity. Find out more about the rest of the 2023 updates here.

Carthago will be showcasing its updated liner-for-two range, which offers a four-room concept in a vehicle that is as compact as possible. For 2023, the German brand has refined its flagship model series, which is immediately evident from its new exterior graphics and lighter interior design. The chic c-line coachbuilt is also now offered on the Mercedes Sprinter, which you'll be able to see at the show. Find out more about Carthago's 2023 updates here.

Carthago's premium motorhome and campervan brand, Malibu, has streamlined its line-up for 2023. The Malibu Van campervan range has been defined with seven basic models. The motorhome ranges have been streamlined with four Malibu T low-profiles and five Malibu I A-class models. Find out more here.

Following the launch of Coachman’s first ever motorhomes in February, the much-loved British caravan manufacturer will be displaying its brand-new Travel Master motorhome range for 2023 on stand 19.2 – the 545 (island bed model) and the 565 (twin singles). Find out more about the new Travel Master range here.

Adria’s all-new Supersonic A-class range is based on the Mercedes-Benz with four layouts available. Inspired by luxury yachts and the latest trends in interior design, the Supersonic range is sure to turn heads. The Slovenian manufacturer's new Twin Supreme 600 SBX campervan – with its flexible day/night living space – will also be on show. See the models on stands 6.36 and 7.30/7.35 – and click here to find out more.

RP Motorhomes (stand 12.145) will be showcasing its brand-new Rebellion 2, based on the all-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Designed for off-road, off-grid adventures, it’s a two-berth including all-electric habitation and a composting toilet. Read our review of the RP Motorhomes 2022 Rebellion campervan here.

Swift’s 2023 line-up (stands 6.33/6.39) includes the new Voyager range of low-profile motorhomes based on the full-size Transit. There are four layouts – all four berths: the 540 (end washroom, big front lounge), the 564 (French bed), 584 (twin single beds above a garage) and the 594 (island bed). Find out more about Swift’s 2023 offerings here.

British motorhome manufacturer, Bailey of Bristol, has expanded its Adamo range for 2023 with two new layouts – the 60-4 and 75-4T, which will be launching at the show. The new 60-4 is a four-berth with two or four travel seats, a parallel front lounge with drop-down bed above, a central kitchen and a rear washroom. The 75-4T is another four-berth with two or four travel seats, parallel front lounge, central kitchen and washroom, and a rear bedroom with single fixed beds and an end garage. The now five-layout Adamo range will be on show on stand 19.25. Find out more about the Adamo range here.

Compass' Avantgarde low-profile range has seen a number of updates for 2023, including a 45cm longer Avantgarde 115, allowing for a bigger lounge with a small seating area when the double bed is made, and a new 400mm by 400mm MPK rooflight. Visit the manufacturer in Hall 20 and find out more about the 2023 range ahead of the show here.

For 2023, Elddis' best-selling Autoquest 115 comes to market on a new 2.2-litre 140bhp Peugeot Boxer chassis, which adds more length and gives a gross vehicle weight of 3,500kg. The now bigger front lounge easily converts into a large double bed or two single beds, with a small seating area towards the rear of the motorhome even when the double is made. A new 400mm by 400mm MPK rooflight can also be found in the 115 for the coming season. Find out more here and see the 115 – and the rest of Elddis' 2023 range – in Hall 20.

Dethleffs will be bringing its new entry-level Ford-based Just Go low-profile range to the show. It offers six layouts: T 6615 EB (6.69m long, twin beds), T 6815 EB (6.99m, single beds), T 6905 FB (6.99m, French bed), T 7055 EB (7.36m, single beds), T 7055 EBL (as per the previously listed model but with a side settee lounge), and the T 7055 DBL (7.36m, island bed). Take a look on stand 20.50 and read more about Dethleffs 2023-season models here.

If you're looking for luxury, head to the stand of German luxury liner manufacturer, Morelo (stand 9.50), and check out the new Empire Liner which premieres at the show. See what's new from Morelo for 2023 here.

Head to the Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld stand (20.70) to see the new Flair from Niesmann+Bischoff. More redolent of a modern apartment than a motorhome, with many domestic features, the Flair has a new-look interior, as well as a revamped exterior that's been two years in the making. Find out more about the new-look Flair here.

Launched for the first time at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, Weinsberg's new X-Cursion Van is an all-new Volkswagen Transporter-based coachbuilt motorhome, available in two layouts – the 500 LT and 500 MQ – and in standard or Edition [Pepper] specification. Eriba will be presenting its Touring range on stand 20.35. The manufacturer is arguably best known for its Touring line-up with retro styling and compact dimensions. All models in the Touring range sleep between three and four people and are light in weight, making them suitable for those with smaller tow vehicles. Find out more about Eriba's 2023 ranges here.

The new Azur from Knaus (stand 17.32) has an innovative “self-healing” surface that easily absorbs pressure marks and dents. The interior – which is available in four different layouts – focuses on cosiness and high-quality materials as well as functional solutions.

Elddis will be using the show to launch its new 8ft-wide Crusader range, available in five layouts (two single-axle and three twin-axle). Click here to find out more. The all-new Compass Camino range – also 8ft wide and with a choice of four layouts (two single-axle and two twin-axle) – will also be launched at the show. Click here to read more. Head to Hall 20 to see the new ranges at the show.

Re-engineered for 2023, Coachman’s striking 'silver grey' Acadia range will be on display at the show (stand 17.1), alongside the VIP, Laser and Laser Xcel ranges, which have been further improved for the coming season. The manufacturer’s flagship Lusso range will also be on show. Find out more about Coachman's 2023 offerings here.

Looking for a lightweight starter caravan with a funky twist? Brand-new Campod Caravans will be showing its range of compact caravans on stand 17.1. Meanwhile, Go-Pods Micro Tourers – manufactured by Lion Caravans – is launching two new models at the show (stand 12.98). The new Cub micro teardrop camper is lightweight and compact with an excellently equipped kitchen, while the new Sabre demountable pick-up camper has a full kitchen, king-size bed and washroom.

Bailey of Bristol (stand 19.25) will be using the show to launch its twin-axle Alicanto Grande Evora with its spacious front lounge complimented by Bailey's front infinity window, while the full Alicanto Grande, Pegasus Grande, Unicorn and Phoenix+ ranges will also be on show.

Swift has announced some major changes for the new model year, including a new look for its sporty Basecamp. The crossover camping vehicle has replaced its original orange colour scheme with blue, which features on both the exterior and interior. The rest of Swift's ranges – including the Sprite, Sprite Grande (previously known as Sprite Super), Conqueror and Challenger – have all seen upgrades to their interior and exterior. The 8ft-wide Challenger Grande range now also includes a new six-berth model with rear French bed, bunks and central washroom. Visit Swift on stand 6.33/6.39.

Caravan magazine's resident tech expert, Lee Davey, will also be talking about continental caravanning on stage in the Inspiration Theatre at the show. Find out more and what time to catch him here.

The winners of the highly anticipated Motorhome and Campervan Awards 2023, in association with leading consumer finance provider, Creation, and the winners of the Caravan Awards 2023, will also be revealed at the show. You'll be able to spot the winners with awards signage highlighting the winning models on the manufacturers' stands.

The demand for tickets reflects the growing consumer interest in campervans, caravans and motorhomes. We are looking forward to welcoming these first-timers as well as familiar faces to the show, providing them with all the products, help, advice and information they need on all aspects of leisure vehicle ownership, as well as a heavy dose of travel inspiration to kick-start their 2023 adventures.
