Roller Team launches new Livingstone campervan
Italian brand, Roller Team, is all set to launch two new campervan models in the UK for the 2024 season. Importantly, the prices for these Livingstone campervans are sensible, with both starting at under £57k
You can choose from a 6m model (Livingstone 2) with a classic layout featuring a transverse double bed, or the longer Livingstone 6 with twin single beds in the rear.
As can be seen in the photos of the Livingstone 6, both layouts will feature sliding doors on the UK nearside; the layout has been flipped in UK-bound models to accommodate this. The Livingstone 2 pictures show a European model but this layout will be mirrored for the UK.
Both have the Sport moniker, which does indicate these models will come with extra kit supplied as standard over their European counterparts. That includes the 140hp engine, 16in alloy wheels, painted front bumper, fog lamps with cornering function, steering wheel controls, Pioneer DAB radio system with rear camera, Webasto diesel heating and a flyscreen for the sliding door.
Other neat features include a table with a swivel-out extension to allow four people to dine – this extra top serves the person sitting in the swivelled passenger cab seat. This table can be fixed to a rail on the back of the kitchen unit when the sliding door is open for al fresco meals, too.
Interiors marry dark and light with pale wood and contrasting dark grey accents, mirrored in the cream and grey fabrics. For daytime illumination, there are large windows and rooflights. Ambient and overhead LEDs should do a good job at night.
The base vehicle, a Fiat Ducato, comes with electric mirrors, start-stop tech, cruise control and speed limiter, driver and passenger airbags and cab air-con, plus Traction and hill descent control.
There are limited options, but the list does include pleated cab blinds, a 120W solar panel, a lounge bed option, and a pop-top with roof bed, allowing you to tailor a Livingstone slightly.
You’ll be able to see both models on display at the NEC Caravan, Camping & Motorhome show this month (February 2024), with customers being able to order for a spring delivery at the show.
