The Eriba 820 is the German brand’s most premium offering and measures 8.48m in length, making it exceptionally spacious and perfect for seasonal use. Even before you set foot inside this caravan, you’ll be struck by its flawless appearance with smooth sides, coordinating steel grab handles, branded alloys and heavy-duty steadies.

It has many features as standard, including the easy-to-use E&P levelling system and integrated load indicator on the jockey wheel, a Thule Omnistor 9200 roof awning and an illuminated electric entrance step. Opt for the Thule Caravan Superb bike carrier as an option, too, if you enjoy cycling.

This is a tourer for all seasons with Alde heating including underfloor heating and the Dometic air-conditioning system. Wherever you’re pitched up, you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of the landscape, with large skylight windows in the lounge, stylish porthole-style windows in the kitchen and panoramic windows in the bedroom. In the evening, enjoy the dimmable lighting scheme throughout the caravan, allowing you to customise the lighting in different areas.

Lounging is a decadent affair in the 820, with its elegant upholstery and coordinating scatter cushions, and there’s space for a 32in TV in the curved cabinet by the door, along with an illuminated, glass-front shelf for drinks. A glossy removable dining table is scratch-resistant and is the perfect place for two to sit and enjoy an evening meal.

In the kitchen, brushed-aluminium work surfaces and splashback are gently curved. And it’s well equipped, with the Thetford two-burner hob, large fridge, and an abundance of storage solutions including a perfectly placed shelf to the left of the hob for condiments and hidden storage behind the sink. The pull-down shelf is designed for a coffee machine and there’s even a special space for pods. A modern washroom with shower is well thought out with wooden shower slats and a washbasin with recessed sink.

When it’s time for sleep, head to the rear of the caravan where you’ll find the fixed single beds with high-quality multi-zone cold foam mattresses that easily make a double. The front lounge can also be made up into a bed should you require extra space.

A pop-top roof allows for extra ventilation and headroom so, when you’re relaxing in the caravan, it always feels spacious despite its compact dimensions. A kitchen with generous workspace, a two-burner hob and 81-litre fridge make cooking on tour pleasant and simple. The washroom benefits from a bench toilet and washroom with plenty of space to stow toiletries.

The main appeal of the Touring range has to be its versatility and the option to customise your own tourer to your exact specification. You can change the colour of the exterior, switch up fabric choices, add bike racks and so much more.

This is a versatile and unusual layout with bunks to the rear and a fixed double to the front. The lounge area can also convert into a further bed. Storage is plentiful, befitting a large family, with an integrated front storage compartment which can take two gas bottles plus any other kit you don’t want to store in the caravan. Natural wood-effect cabinetry runs throughout the 515 and is modern, spacious – and, as the name suggests, light.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a three-burner hob and generous sink, plus 80-litre fridge. Of course, you’ll want a washroom, and here, too, is another great example of space-saving design.
