The latter is new for the 2023 season and is a twin-axle 7.9m-long version of Coachman’s best-selling caravan, the VIP 575. It features a large side-facing island bed, rear washroom and acres of space throughout, including at the front where there is a lounge with facing sofas that convert into the other two berths at night. It is further enhanced with a larger fridge/freezer and additional storage when compared to the single-axle variant.

There are four layouts for 2023, including an all-new floorplan. The twin-axle 665 offers twin single beds at the rear and a spacious lounge up front.

Between the two is the real reason to buy – a very spacious washroom – the wardrobe and large shower are opposite the toilet and vanity basin unit. Doors on either side turn this into a wonderful dressing room.

Standard features of the Laser range include large fridges (a generous 133 to 153 litres), dimmable under-counter and ambient lighting, microwave, underfloor Whale insulated water tank system, heavy-duty corner steadies and more.

The main differences are that the Lusso II measures 7.89m in length and is a twin axle, whereas the Lusso I is 7.43m long and is a single axle. When it comes to equipment, these tourers have everything you could ever wish for – you can level both at the touch of a button thanks to the E&P levelling system; it has a Truma air-conditioning system; there’s a safe for storing valuables; built-in wireless charging pads, plus, it’s connected to the internet with 5G WiFi.

Well-considered lighting is a key feature of the Lusso, further enhancing your caravan holidays – the spotlights have touch-controls and night-time settings. You’ll even find a light in the oven, and LED lighting illuminates the kitchen area. This is a caravan made for living well.

Inside the bedroom, the sense of opulence continues with a dressing table, plenty of storage, domestic-style cabinets and patterned voile curtains. It feels more akin to a boutique hotel than a caravan with its padded headboard and plush furnishings.

Step inside the washroom and you’ll be struck by the size and there’s no compromise on fixtures and fittings with a spacious domestic-style shower and curved vanity unit.

For 2023, you’ll get Alde’s 3030 boiler with integrated pump and programmable control panel. In addition, you will also benefit from the Alde Flow constant hot water system.
