This is a fabulous campsite with so much to do, perfect for an active holiday. Some of the 90 hardstanding pitches overlook Kielder Water, the largest man-made lake in Northern Europe. The campsite is set within woodland with stunning views of Kielder Forest, which offers numerous cycling and walking opportunities, and within easy reach of Leaplish Waterside Park. Here you will find a bird of prey centre, adventure playgrounds, crazy golf, a swimming pool, sauna, shop, restaurant and bar. Dogs will love the open space and wildlife enthusiasts will be in their element. For those who prefer to take things easy there’s lake cruises and plenty of peace and tranquillity here. The campsite itself has toilets, showers, a laundry and electric hook-ups.

Dinlle Caravan Park lies on the west coast of North Wales, where Snowdonia meets the ocean. It is near Caernarfon and a stone’s throw from a vast expanse of golden, sandy beach. The campsite affords views of the Snowdonia mountain range and offers excellent facilities for both families and couples alike. These include an outdoor heated pool, sun deck with seating, loungers and parasols, a conservatory bar and the large 'Castaway' family bar. For children there are two play areas and a games room. For tourers, the amenities provided include food preparation, dish washing, electrical hook-ups, laundrette and showers. This campsite is ideal for a relaxing beach holiday and also for exploring all the walking opportunities of Snowdonia itself.

Set in the heart of Bronte Country, close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Upwood Park is in beautiful surroundings. The traditional Bronte village of Haworth is only one mile away and Worth Valley steam railway (as featured in The Railway Children) is close by. There are many historical houses and abbeys in the area along with moorland paths direct from the site. A short drive away is Malham Cove - a large curved cliff limestone formation which is ideal for walkers and hikers, forming part of the Pennine Way. After a busy day of sightseeing, Upwood is the ideal campsite retreat to return to offering everything you might need on site, including a bar serving food at weekends and busy periods, indoor and outdoor play areas, a small shop, and heated toilet and shower block.

Atlantic Coast is a quiet campsite lying close to the sand dunes of St Ives Bay in Cornwall. The touring pitches here are situated in a sheltered area next to the dunes and are fully serviced grass pitches with electric hook-ups. The David Bellamy Gold Award campsite is close to the sandy beach of Gwithian Towans which is perfect for families, popular with surfers and allows dogs. Within easy driving distance are St Ives, Land’s End and the Lizard. For those who prefer to leave their cars on site, a bus stop into Newquay, St Ives and Hayle is handily located just outside the campsite entrance. Facilities on site now include a well-stocked shop with freshly baked bread, a refurbished toilet and shower block, a laundrette and free Wi-Fi.

Barley Meadow campsite is located within the Dartmoor National Park and offers a beautiful location with 63 pitches. The surrounding landscape is that of moorlands, wooded valleys and stunning tors along with many attractions to suit every taste. The expanse of the National Park is a large area of wild countryside with lots of open space. In the area is Castle Drogo, several waterfalls and plenty of leisure parks to keep the children happy. On the campsite there’s a shop selling local produce and a newly refurbished toilet and shower block. Also new is a children’s wooden play trail. A couple of good pubs are five minutes away and within 200 metres is the Two Moors Way walk.

Located on Mersea Island with its seashore and boating areas, this campsite offers sports, activities and entertainment for all ages which are available all day every day. There are four fishing lakes on site and sea fishing is available from the private beach, along with a slipway for boat launching. Most water craft is welcome and the boating lake offers plenty of space for messing about in boats. There’s also an 18-hole pitch and putt course along with a driving range, a heated open air pool with toddler pool, outdoor play areas, all-weather sports court, and family amusement arcade. With a bar and restaurant on site too, evening entertainment and a fully-stocked shop, everything you could possibly need is here.
