Swift’s luxurious Elegance Grande invites caravanners to tour all year round

A new way of touring

Typically, the caravanning season runs from March to around October but, with today’s tourers becoming even more luxurious, that might soon be a thing of the past as Swift’s latest video illustrates. Gone are the sunny views and beach walks and, in its place, breathtaking landscapes and a family in wet-weather gear. It’s realistic and refreshing.

For 2023, Swift has unveiled its newly remodelled Elegance Grande range. There’s three layouts – 835 (central washroom, transverse island bed), 845 (end washroom, island bed) and 850 (L-shaped lounge, central washroom). All are 8ft-wide and sleep four.

Premium offering

Inside the Swift Elegance grande

It’s the manufacturer's most premium offering and makes touring in even the coldest months, not only possible but something to look forward to.

Ever fancied visiting a Christmas market in Europe? There’s no need to book a coach trip to Cologne if you’ve got your own fully kitted out caravan and there’s room for all your gifts and treats, too.

And imagine a wintry walk in Snowdonia’s epic landscape, a scattering of snow on its imposing peaks and then, just as you start to feel the cold tingling in your toes, you reach into your pocket for your phone and, using an app (paired with the SWIFT Command touchscreen), pop the heating on. A warm and cosy caravan is just a few footsteps away with underfloor heating as standard. And if it’s starting to get dark as you make your way back, use the app to turn on the lights to welcome you home.

Home from home

A look inside the Swift Elegance grande

When most of us think about caravans, we think of them as vehicles, but the reality is that with the right one, it’s home just with a different view. It’s also true that off-grid caravanning is becoming more popular as people seek to get away from it all – and everyone else! A 100W lightweight solar panel is included as part of the package so, if you favour sites without hook up, this might be a good option.

All Elegance Grande models provide the maximum living space, something you’ll welcome if you fancy a day of lounging. Don’t fancy going out for dinner? A new feature is the L-shaped kitchen which feels a bit like you’re in a stylish apartment – there’s room to store all your favourite ingredients and take your time making a meal. Extra fancy? We love the illuminated cocktail cabinet. Allow these little touches to help you relax.

Super-stylish features

The washroom inside the Swift Elegance grande

You’d expect premium fittings here and you’ll find them in abundance. The washroom is super stylish and functional so there no need to use the campsite wash block and you won’t be shivering when you step out of the shower – the Alde wet heating system ensures it's always warm.

If you’ve been spending the day relaxing or making the most of the great outdoors, you’ll be craving a good night’s sleep and that’s when the fixed bed comes into its own, it’s super comfy and there’s a large-screen TV if you want to do some binge-watching. The seating in the lounge can be converted into a generous double bed and uses a mechanism called Accuride so it’s quick and easy to make the bed.

Underpinning all of this is Swift’s commitment to its quality and build (known as SMART Construction) by offering a 10-year bodyshell warranty.
