Lebberston Touring Park

32fee9f0-d15a-4087-bf01-d1e1910084f4
Tucked between the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and the Heritage coast, this quality, family-run park is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing break, with many pitches having far reaching views over the Vale of Pickering.

The park lies 5 miles south of Scarborough and 3 miles north of Filey. The site provides a gently sloping, south facing aspect. Tarmac roadways lead around the site, which also has a security barrier system. On the lower section of the site there is a large grassed area for children to play on. Shrubs and trees complement the pitches in most areas. Pitches are a pleasing mix of grass and pebbled hardstanding, with all pitches being numbered and generous in size.

Two fully modernised heated and perfectly clean amenity blocks provide hot showers, individual wash cubicles, shaver points and hairdryers, supplemented by a well-appointed family bathroom with baby-changing facilities. There is also a spacious disabled shower room. A laundry room and washing-up sinks complete the blocks. The park shop provides all the basic essentials, the dog exercise area is to the rear, and there are recycling bins opposite. On top of all this a dedicated tourist information centre is provided containing many brochures and leaflets of events and attractions in the local area.

Lebberston Touring Park's Visit Britain 5 stars, AA 4 pennants and David Bellamy Gold Conservation award show their on-going commitment to a great holiday experience while working to secure the stunning nature of their beautiful rural environment.

The site is set between the seaside towns of Filey and Scarborough, with all their attractions, on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. The entire area is awash with heritage properties and the fishing port of Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay are along the coast to the north with smuggling ports along the way. Filey offers all that you would expect from a traditional seaside town, with donkey rides, crazy golf and seafront amusements. Scarborough has beaches, scenic cliff tops and the famous Victorian cliff lifts. It also boasts some fine parks, an elegant Esplanade, a Spa Complex and a medieval castle.

Great walking can be found on the North Yorkshire Moors, Dalby Forest or the nearby Cleveland Way and Wolds Way. Some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain can be witnessed by car or on the North York Moors Railway. Dalby Forest offers many activities for all ages - streams to play in, bike hire and for the more adventurous, Go Ape! high wire experience through the treetops.

Situated just off the main A64 road, and a short walk to the village pub and good food - or public transport if required - the site is well placed for a relaxing weekend or touring base.
