Lake Ross Caravan Park

3d5c846f-0f25-4ed3-b40e-80f9c585854f
Lake Ross Caravan Park is in a small tranquil lakeside location especially attractive to fishing enthusiasts. Perch, roach and carp can be fished from the lake (once you've bought the necessary day fishing permit) and this delightfully quiet little park has a neatly kept appearance.

Located in beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, the site is the perfect base to use when exploring the Fens, plus the towns of Grantham and Peterborough are within close proximity if you fancy a bit of retail therapy.

This family-run site offers twenty touring pitches (all with electric hook-up) situated beside a lake, from which perch, roach and carp can be fished (once you get the appropriate fishing permit). In fact, the fishing here is so good that a regular face at the lakeside is World Champion fisherman Bob Nudd MBE. The park also has a number of five or six berth static caravans for those without a 'van or tent. After a long day of fishing or exploring the surrounding areas, you might be in need of a relaxing drink, in which case the on-site licensed Clubhouse should do the trick. Open most evenings to both guests and the local residents, the Clubhouse offers a friendly and intimate area to relax and socialise. During busy weekends, the site also puts on lively entertainment such as discos.

The facilities at this site are basic but clean and practical, and include both ladies and gents toilet and shower facilities, plus a washing room with a modern coin-operated washing machine.

The nearby town of Spalding offers an array of shops, eateries and pubs and bars to explore. The historic Ascoughfee Hall Museum in the town provides a wonderful day out, with its exhibitions and landscaped gardens to browse.

The city of Peterborough again offers a huge amount of shops and restaurants plus its famous cathedral to explore.

If the weather is nice during your visit, then why not make the most ot it by jumping in the car and going to the beach - with the seaside towns of Hunstanton, Skegness and Sandringham all within the hour.
