From coastal campsites to those close to historic towns, this selection of top sites is perfect for exploring the east and southeast of England.

Messing about in boats on the Broads, birdwatching at world-famous nature reserves in Lincolnshire or Suffolk, or leaving footprints in the huge expanses of sand of Norfolk’s beaches – these are just some of the countless things to enjoy in the East of England. There’s also the grand city of Cambridge, the wide open skies of the Lincolnshire landscape, and the beautiful scenery of Mersea Island.
