Set in the beautiful Kentish countryside, Broadhembury is just 20 minutes from the coast, 30 minutes from the cathedral city of Canterbury and 40 minutes from London by train. With an abundance of flat, level grass pitches, hardstanding and fully serviced pitches, with the choice of shade or no shade, electricity or not, Broadhembury is the perfect camping and touring destination. Book a pitch on the Family Park and have easy access to the children’s playgrounds, sports field and games room, or choose The Meadows, the quieter part of the park set aside for couples and adults' camping. On both areas, you will enjoy centrally heated showers, toilets, laundry rooms and campers’ kitchens.

Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park

Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park, Bishop Sutton, Somerset

A uniquely peaceful adult only park based on a garden theme, with hardstanding and fully-serviced pitches set among lawns, trees and flower beds. The facilities are comprised of en-suite style shower which are heated in the winter. The site is within 800 metres of a championship fly-fishing lake, the surrounding country park is a haven for bird watchers and walkers, with the newly opened Chew Valley Trail.

The park is close to Bath with its historic spa and shops, Bristol and Weston-s-Mare are within easy reach and the campsite is an excellent base for exploring the Mendip hills and West Country attractions.

A stunning 27-pitch park with four safari lodges close to the South Downs National Park. Pitches are fully serviced hardstandings, suitable for all types of vehicle, with hedging for privacy and seclusion. For an added luxury you can choose an Emperor Pitch with the addition of a day-living safari tent with dining area, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, sink and log burning stove. The luxurious washrooms include toilets and showers with complimentary toiletries and are reminiscent of the facilities in a boutique hotel. There is also an on-site shop, laundry room and complimentary dog wash facility. For exploring off site, the Goodwood Estate and quality beaches are just a short distance away.

Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Park, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire

A very popular campsite with lots of pitches set on the outskirts of Holmfirth where the popular television series, Last Of The Summer Wine, was filmed. The campsite has lots of facilities and is set in a wooded valley with its own fishing lake in the centre of the pitches. The site is in the grounds of a former woollen mill and has a heated toilet and shower block, a shop and a well-equipped laundry. The nearby town of Holmfirth offers various tours of the film locations used in the TV series and there's a minibus tour there. The site is also handy for walkers keen to explore the Pennine Way.

Inver Caravan Park

Inver Caravan Park, Dunbeath, Scotland

A small, friendly touring park just north of Dunbeath. It is on the NC500 and conveniently placed for trips to Orkney, being only 38 miles from John o’ Groats. From November to March there are 10 hardstandings with electric hook-ups and grass between. The facilities block has underfloor heating, three unisex shower rooms and a bathroom, hairdryer and shaver point, also a laundry and dishwashing area. There is an excellent drying room with guaranteed overnight drying for washing or wet clothing.

Stanwix Park offers the holiday that has it all! Self-catering apartments and caravans are available to hire for three, four and seven night breaks. Camping pods and fully serviced pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes. The park offers pet-free and pet-friendly accommodation so you can bring all the members of your family on holiday. A maximum of two pets will be accepted per booking. All on site you will find an indoor swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, foot spas and heated loungers, plus JJ’s bowling alley and an amusement arcade. The Sunset Inn offers fantastic family nights of entertainment and The Dunes Bar offers adults only entertainment (until 31 October).

Rutland Caravan & Camping Park, Oakham, Rutland

A pretty caravan park built to a high specification, affiliated to the Caravan and Motorhome Club and five-star AA graded. The site offers 132 pitches and is set in two areas (one area for families and one side for adults only). This is a dog friendly site with 2½ acres of dog walking area and dog showering facility. Ideal for families with a children’s play area, indoor pool and a small games room, while the separate adults-only area provides a more relaxed and peaceful environment. The spacious site is close to the Viking Way and other footpath networks and is well-sited for Rutland Water along with being central to many market towns and villages.
