ReKovered Arrow Backpack review
Arrow is just one of three new bags in the ReKovered range from Bath-based sustainable bag brand, Kovered
Made from 100% recycled materials, the Arrow is a roll-top nylon backpack made with water-repellent bluesign-approved materials. We tested it on a weekend sightseeing break in London and its 24-litre capacity meant we had no issues squeezing in everything from clothes (for a family of four no less) to toiletries and snacks (we went with kids, so snacks were essential).
It’s also got a handy foam-padded back panel with a zipped section that fits up to a 15in laptop, a zipped interior pocket for valuables, a drinks bottle holder on the side and a zipped box pocket at the front for quick-to-grab essentials.
Unfortunately for us, the weather didn’t hold out and we were treated to some showers, but, fortunately for us, the Arrow kept everything inside completely dry.
When unpacked, the bag weighs just 0.4g – less than half a bag of sugar – and we found it to be an incredibly comfortable and lightweight backpack to wear for two days of solid sightseeing.
It might not matter to some, but we think the trendy and modern styling is great, too, and particularly like the metal snap-buckle closure, which has a real quality feel to it.
Also included in the ReKovered range is the slightly smaller 17-litre Dee backpack (£99) and the 32-litre Trent holdall (£115).
