Club shares last-minute deals for French breaks

The Caravan and Motorhome Club has hand-picked its best French campsites offering great deals for those looking for a last-minute break over the upcoming bank holiday

With many of the sites coming in at under £8 per person, per night (based on two adults on pitch), the Club also offers discounted ferry and Eurotunnel tickets for further savings.

Deals for Club sites in Brittany, France

La Hallerais (from £15.73 per night)

Stay at this site, situated on the edge of the Rance Valley, from £15.73 per night in August, and enjoy free tennis, mini-golf and WiFi, plus one dog goes free of charge.

Des Abers (from £17.24 per night)

A rural campsite with a quieter feel, Des Abers is located at the tip of the Sainte Marguerite peninsula and enjoys breathtaking views across the sea. Stays up to 31 August are for a minimum of two nights. Pitch up from 1-29 September and you’ll get seven nights for the price of six.

Le Raguenes-Plage (from £20.78 per night)

Ideal for families, walkers and beach trips, Le Raguénès-Plage is located in southern Brittany, between Concarneau and Lorient. From 25 August, the site is offering six nights for the price of seven.


Deals for Club sites in Occitanie, southern France

Le Moulin de Bel-Air (from £16.38 per night)

Close to the Dordogne Valley, this small wooded site is built around an eighteenth century water mill, with tourers invited to pitch on the banks of the Céou river. Visitors can get seven nights for the price of six, and one dog goes free.

Le Mas de Reilhe (from £18.88 per night)

An inland site with a heated pool and a modern bar/restaurant, Le Mas de Reilhe is just a 30-minute drive from Nîmes, and an hour from the dramatic Cévennes National Park. Stay in September and get seven nights for the price of six, or 14 nights for the price of 11 (from 27 August).


Deals for Club sites in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

Beau Rivage (from £20.60 per night)

A peaceful countryside site, located at the crossroads of the Atlantic Coast, the Pyrenees and the Basque Country. Running directly below the site, the river Gave D’Oloron is ideal for fishing, canoeing and rafting. Stay for £20.60 per night in September, where dogs go free.

Le Château de Leychoisier (from £25.86 per night)

Located within the grounds of a chateau, you’ll find a lake, woodland trails and surrounding cycle routes. Stay from 1 September and get six nights for the price of seven, and dogs go free.


Deals for Club sites in northeast France

Au Clos de la Chaume (from £17.24 per night)

Located near the village of Corcieux, there are over 30 species of bird present on site and it’s said to be a lovely natural atmosphere. From 26 August, enjoy seven nights for the price of six, or 14 for the price of 12.


Deals for Club sites in the Centre-Val de Loire in the southwest of Paris, France

Le Moulin Fort (from £17.24 per night)

A touring-only site situated on the banks of the River Cher. Facilities include a bar, restaurant, pool and mini-golf. From 30 August, dogs go free.


Deals for Club sites in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

Le Taillefer (from £19.24 per night)

Enjoy spectacular views of the mountains around Lake Annecy at this rustic site located in the Bauges Natural Park. Stay from 1-30 September and get seven nights for the price of six. Stays until 31 August have a two-night minimum stay.
