Fen Farm is easily found with an impressive drive leading to the reception and information room. There is a fenced lily pond and an open field for dog walks. The close Essex marshes give a unique tranquil atmosphere, with the presence of many birds and wildlife. With no pool or clubhouse, a favourite occupation for children is crabbing in the creeks or marshes, or enjoying the beach and sea a few yards from the campsite. In fact, they are spoiled here, for not only is there a large modern play area, but two open fields for ball games and kite flying – not usually allowed on caravan sites.
