What Is There To See And Do At The NEC Camping Show This Year?

With camping more popular than ever, it’s no surprise that the tent display area at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show is expanding for 2019.

The space allocated for tent and camping display areas at the massive NEC show is being increased by more than a third due to public demand.

And that has allowed brands like Terra Nova, Field Candy, Robens, BO Camp and Isabella to feature for the first time. They will be appearing alongside regulars like Vango, Outwell, Coleman, Outdoor Revolution, Kampa, Zempire, Khyam and Quest.

The brands' tent displays will showcase all their new tent models for 2019 as well as some of their extensive range of camping accessories.

For trailer tents and folding campers, Raclet, Trigano, Opus, Camperlands and Pennine will all be showing their newest models and you will also be able to buy the latest camping accessories.

Hall 5 at the show will incorporate a new Camping Village for 2019, as part of the 1000sqm set aside for the display of new tent innovations. And in neighbouring Hall 4, you’ll find a Glamping feature area with a climbing wall as a central attraction.

The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2019 takes place from 19th–24th February. Spanning five vast exhibition halls at the NEC, as well as the latest tents, camping accessories and gadgets, the newest campervans, motorhomes, caravans, caravan holiday homes and lodges will also be on display.

The show features special guest appearances every day by celebrities including Paralympic athlete Lauren Steadman, micro-adventurer Alastair Humphreys and TV presenter Julia Bradbury. There are also activities for the kids, such as ice skating and a climbing wall, features areas like the Top Dog Arena showing amazing agility demonstrations and theatre events. New for 2019 is the Bear Grylls Adventure feature area, offering four epic challenges to test your physical and mental strength.

Visit the Camping magazine team on stand 3010 at the show or why not come along on the MMM, Caravan and Camping Day on Wednesday 21st February? We are taking over the Discovery Theatre for the day with chef demonstrations and advice.

Advance tickets for the show cost £8 for adults and £7 for seniors. Tickets on the door cost £10 for adults and £9 seniors - kids 15 years and under go free!
