The Forest Store is bringing a new retail experience to people staying on Forest Holiday campsites. Currently being trialled on three sites, the store and coffee shop aims to supply a range of camping accessories including gas, as well as groceries and other provisions.
Key is the sourcing of local produce for all products like meats, bread, milk and eggs, but The Forest Store also stocks organic and environmentally conscious items ranging from organic pasta to 100 per cent recycled foil and Ecover products.
Forest Holidays has also joined the Green Tourism Business Scheme and its shops will play their part through waste recycling and the use of recycled materials.
