Karsten celebrates 40 years of air technology

54277619-fcc2-4035-8bf3-e1a5ae57a7eb

Dutch luxury tent manufacturer Karsten has launched a search for its oldest tent as it celebrates its 40th birthday.

The company started making inflatable tents in the Netherlands in 1981 and now it wants to find the oldest model still in use.

For a chance to win a brand new Karsten tent, visit karstententen/nl and upload photographs and details of your vintage Karsten.

For 40 years, Karsten inflatable tents have been world leaders in air technology.

What started with a tent repair in a garden shed in 1981 has led to a flagship store in the Netherlands, incorporating a large workshop producing not only the famous air tents, but also tents for the emergency services, military and the Red Cross.

For the future, innovation and technology is key to Karsten's success. A younger family management team and the successful launch of the tunnel tent range over the past few years have seen sales rocket as new models are added to its prestigious portfolio.

Karsten Tents are handmade in the Netherlands and exclusively represented in the UK by Camping Travel Store.
