Guide goes mobile

IF you fancy a quick pint or a good meal while camping, but are not sure where to go then help is on hand.

The Good Pub Guide has launched a mobile internet service that locates the nearest mobile telephone mast to your location and then sends you a list of the nearest 10 pubs that feature in the latest guide. Users can also search by town and postcode.

The service promises maps, reviews, ratings, opening hours, menus, pictures and contact details. All are designed to easily view using the small screen of a mobile phone.

The user will be charged via a credit system which includes a small fee for the application download. For details of charges and how to use the system visit www.goodguides.com
