SANDY Balls Holiday Centre in the New Forest is creating a winter wonderland for ice skaters.

Open from December 1, the temporary rink - in place until the end of January - will open from 10am to 7pm daily.

The price for an hour’s skating is £5 for adults and £4 for children, including skate hire.

Leisure Club manager Richard Bowden-Smith said: “A visit to the rink will be great fun for all the family. Our new bistro is planning its very own Forest Ice menu to appeal to skaters and those who’d rather take a more sedentary approach from the sidelines.”
