Book a pitch and stay in the UK this Easter

With the Easter Bank Holiday weekend upon us, campers show that the appetite for staying in the UK is stronger than ever by choosing to explore at home in favour of flying abroad for their holidays.

The Club has enjoyed a 27 per cent increase in reservations across its UK campsite network compared with Easter 2014.
Top performing Club Sites include Beadnell Bay, Mablethorpe, Moreton, Bakewell and Loch Ness Shores, which each enjoyed an increase in Easter Weekend reservations of more than 100% on 2014.

The Club invested more than £4.8m into redeveloping its sites throughout 2014, and plans to spend a further £4m developing them in 2015, giving campers more reason than ever to revisit favourite Club sites and try new ones for the first time.

As well as the 109 award-winning Club Sites, the Club offers its members more than 1,600 small and exclusive Certificated Sites to choose from, ensuring camping and caravanning remains the best way to explore the stunning British countryside.
What’s more, finding the perfect Club Site for individual requirements is easier than ever. Downloads of the Club’s handy SiteSeeker app, which enables campers to research and quickly find the site of their choice, has now reached well over 100,000.

The Club’s YouTube channel is going from strength to strength too, and now features video reviews of more than 50 Club Sites, making it easier than ever for campers to check out and choose their holiday destination.

Bob Hill, Sites Director at the Club, said: “We’ve worked very hard to improve the Club Site network, so we’re delighted to see that campers can’t wait to get out there and camp with us now the season is fully underway. Bookings across our whole UK campsite network are well ahead of expectations.”

To research and book a pitch on a Club Site, take a look at the Club’s informative website: campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk or telephone the UK Contact Centre on 024 7647 5426.
