Blenheim Palace scoops VisitEngland award
Blenheim Place, in Oxfordshire, has been awarded Silver for Large Visitor Attraction at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2023
The awards champion the very best of the country’s tourism industry, with the Large Visitor Attraction category recognising those who provide memorable experiences and demonstrate excellence across the business.
Heather Carter, Managing Director – Visitor Attraction at Blenheim Palace, says,
It’s an honour to be among such an impressive shortlist of visitor attractions, and we’d like to congratulate Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter for taking home the Gold. To be awarded Silver in this category is fabulous recognition for all of us here at ‘Britain’s Greatest Palace’. It's testament to the passion and hard work of each and every department.
Blenheim Palace, which is over 300 years old, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Set in over 2,000 acres of Capability Brown landscaped parkland, it houses one of the most important collections of portraits, furniture, sculpture and tapestries in Europe.
