Willerby Teams Up With Hull KR For Charity Initiative
News
Hull-based holiday homes manufacturer, Willerby, has joined forces with rugby league team, Hull Kingston Rovers, for a parking initiative with a difference.
The new parking scheme will support two leading charities that help people in Hull and East Yorkshire.
Hull KR enjoyed the club’s most successful season ever in 2025, resulting in the club now being almost at capacity for season pass memberships, and parking for home games in higher demand than ever.
Willerby’s manufacturing site is just a few minutes’ walk from Hull KR’s home, so the innovative idea will see Willerby offer fans access to its staff car park, a 250-space facility that will be managed by Hull KR's stewards on matchdays.
A share of the proceeds made from car park charges will be donated to Dove House Hospice, who provide care for people living with life-limiting illnesses, and Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Children’s University which works to create unique learning opportunities and inspire disadvantaged children.
Hull KR’s Ticketing Manager, Harry Spillings, said
This initiative will make parking on matchdays easier and more convenient for many supporters, as well as ensuring we’re doing everything we can to be a good neighbour to people who live around our stadium, by reducing parking in residential areas.
