Somerset campsite awarded four AA pennants and VisitEngland five star rating

An award-winning, adults-only campsite in Somerset has been awarded four pennant Gold status by the AA and five stars by VisitEngland following its most recent assessment

Long Hazel Park, near Yeovil in Somerset, has made significant investments over the last two years, including extensive groundworks, installation of new fully serviced pitches and an upgrade to the shower block.

The campsite also won a gold award in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year category at the Bath, Bristol and Somerset Tourism Awards as well as taking an accolade at the Theo Paphitis Small Business awards this year.

Long Hazel Park is an adults-only campsite open all year, catering for caravans, motorhomes and tents as well as offering self-catering lodge accommodation and residential lodges.

The park has also joined the Premier Parks group for the 2022 season. This is an exclusive group of 100 high-quality parks across the UK and Ireland.
