Regal’s first twin-unit holiday home
From Regal Holiday Homes comes a new unit, the Wyndham Lodge. It's the first ever twin unit to be produced by the Dorset manufacturer.
The Wyndham Lodge's theme is a luxurious country retreat, created by warm country tones.
Features include a utility room, a range cooker with a double oven, and a six-seater dining table.
The Wyndham we review here is a 41 ft x 20 ft home; a three-bedroom version is also available.
The Wyndham Lodge has a large lounge-dining-kitchen space; it's an open plan with an interesting twist – that's a high breakfast bar which gives the kitchen clear dimension and makes it feel a separate entity while it's definitely a component of the whole living space. Interestingly, it seats four – that's two more than many holiday home breakfast bars.
The kitchen is galley style, with loads of works surface and units inspired by shaker style.
In the lounge, the two settees and central stool-seat are arranged to face a traditional style coal-effect fire.
The utility room, accessed off the hallway, houses a washing machine, the central heating unit and cabinets – and doubles as a cloak room, with four coat books plus a space for shoes.
This unit has two bedrooms, the second one has wide single beds, a dressing table and a good-sized wardrobe. Opposite is a bathroom with an over-bath shower.
Luxury is everywhere but nothing prepares you for the level of luxury you find in the main bedroom area. Alcoves on both sides of the bed lead to a corridor-style dressing room with a dressing table, wardrobes and en suite shower room.
The special thing about this bedroom is it has a large log-effect fireplace and, on each side, velvet-upholstered window seats.
