Kinvena hits silver

THE Elms Retirement Park, run by Kinvena Homes, has been awarded the Silver David Bellamy Conservation Award.

The prestigious conservation accolade is granted only to parks that have demonstrated a sound commitment to the natural world.

“We are particularly proud, as this decision was based partly on the opinions of our residents,” said Kinvena’s Ann Fillingham. “It was their comments about our Park which helped convince Prof Bellamy that The Elms was worthy of the honor.”

The Elms had previously achieved a Bronze level award in 2004.
