Kelling Heath Holiday Park - holiday park profile
With luxury lodges set in woodland, open heathland, and close to the north Norfolk coast, Kelling Heath is a relaxing, natural environment.
Amid the stunning natural beauty of north Norfolk sits a holiday park with nature at its heart, and first-rate facilities, including its own Village Square.
Kelling Heath Holiday Park is set among 300 acres of woodland and open heathland, close to the coast at Weybourne; there are views of the coast from the park. You can follow many miles of heathland and woodland trails, for both walking and cycling, without leaving the park. It’s a very special place, set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Kelling Heath's facilities
A comprehensive array of both outdoor and indoor leisure opportunities are available. Outdoor attractions include an ‘Eco Gym’ woodland trail, tennis courts, table tennis and adventure playgrounds. Indoors you’ll find Kelling Heath’s Health & Fitness Club which has a pool, sauna and steam room, plus a gym with equipment geared to every level of fitness.
The Village Square is a hub of activity; a place to enjoy a coffee, and stock up in the Village Store where you can buy local produce, ready meals, snacks and sandwiches, as well as daily essentials and hot and cold drinks. Eating options include Bracken’s Café during the day and the Terrace restaurant for evening meals and also Sunday lunch. An outdoor bar, Stargazers, opens at busy times of the season in the Village Square, alongside food pop-ups.
Kelling Heath is recognised as one of the best places in England to observe stars because the area is not affected by light pollution.
The lodge area at Kelling Heath
Kelling Heath has created an exclusive lodge area, called The Heathland, transforming an arable field into a new area of magnificent lowland heath habitat. How?
A spokesperson for Kelling Heath explains,
We removed the current vegetation layer, added sulphur to achieve the optimum pH of the soil for heath, and applied seed-rich cuttings of heather from the nearby heathland. We also planted a number of native trees around the perimeter of the development to enhance the natural screening of the area.
Your lodge could be nestling in this charming new area. Or you may choose a woodland location; there’s so much space and choice here. All this, backed by the on-park countryside and maintenance department and dedicated Owner Services Team, ensures that your leisure time at Kelling Heath will always be time well spent.
And, when it comes to choosing a holiday home, you will be spoilt for choice. You can select from luxury lodge-style homes to equally luxurious caravan holiday homes, with a range of prices to make holiday home ownership in this stunning location affordable. The pricing of the luxury lodges is dependent on the size and specification chosen, so it is best to discuss this with the team at Kelling Heath, where a quote can be provided.
New and pre-owned caravan holiday homes are also available.
