Hutton John Estate to offer four luxury cabins

Lake District-based Hutton John Estate is launching a collection of four luxurious cabins this spring

Highgate Cabins, situated in the ancient woodland of the family-run estate near Ullswater, will offer a quiet retreat for those looking to explore the lesser-known side of the Lakes.

Each solar-powered, pet-friendly cabin will benefit from uninterrupted views, stylish interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights, and premium facilities, including underfloor heating. All four cabins will have one bedroom, each with a super-king bed; an en suite shower room; and a modern and well-equipped kitchen with quartz worktops, full-size oven and induction hob.

Outside, each cabin will offer a private decked area containing a fire pit, barbecue, seating and an outdoor bathtub. All cabin guests will also have access to a communal area called The Quadrangle, where you'll be able to enjoy al fresco dining.

Guests will be able to access a whole host of walks around the estate, with northern Lake District right on the doorstep. For guests wanting the classic Lakes experience, Penrith, Watermillock, Pooley Bridge and Keswick are all just a short drive away.

The first of the four Highgate Cabins at Hutton John Estate will open in May 2022, with the remaining three set to open throughout the year.

Prices will start from £150 per night and will be bookable via highgatecabins.co.uk
