Holiday lodge owners win £5,000 prize
A couple who bought a holiday lodge in the New Forest have won a £5,000 prize from holiday home insurance specialist, Leisuredays
The insurance provider runs a promotion called Spin to Win for holiday home and lodge owners who obtain a quote via the holiday parks with which Leisuredays works.
Spin to Win gives customers two chances to win money when they obtain an insurance quote. First, a spin of an online wheel of fortune selects winners of a £10 Amazon voucher. Then the recipients of the quote are automatically entered into an annual £5,000 draw.
Trevor and Helga Redvers-Higgins were the first £5,000 winners. They had obtained a quote from Leisuredays having bought a Carnaby Chantry lodge from Hoburne Bashley Holiday Park in the New Forest, earlier this year.
Helga says,
We’re over the moon. We’d just got the keys for our new lodge the day before Leisuredays called us to let us know we’d won the £5,000, so it felt unbelievable. We’ll be treating the family as well as buying outdoor furniture and a new television for our lodge.
When we saw the promotion, we thought ‘what have we got to lose?’ So, we spent a few minutes getting a quote. We never thought we’d win, but here we are, £5,000 better off!”

It was an absolute pleasure to tell Trevor and Helga the good news and it’s brilliant to hear that they’ll be using the money to add some extra home comforts to their new lodge.”
Leisuredays will be announcing another £5,000 winner in March 2024. Holiday caravan owners can simply pick up a leaflet in a participating park to try their luck.
