FANCY A PARK HOME BY THE WATER?

9f6b7a57-91f1-4274-9188-5005a4cfe4ba
Hanbury Wharf near Droitwich in Worcestershire is unusual among park-home estates in being located right next to a canal, the Worcester & Birmingham, well known for its traditional narrowboats.
Part of Morrison Park Homes (13 residential estates in total), it was developed as a green-field site in 2009.
Hanbury is licensed for 34 plots, all twins and each with block-paved drive. Open-plan, it features only Canexel-clad lodges in matching.
There is a marina nearby with moorings for 230 craft. But activities on, by or in the water are not the only attraction at Hanbury.
Three major designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty are all within day-tripping distance: the Malverns, the Cotswolds and the Shropshire Hills. The M6 motorway is just a few miles away.
Less than 1½ miles distant, Droitwich, with its long history as a spa town, can provide just about everything you need: shops, supermarkets, banks, post offices, restaurants, takeaways, doctors and dentists.
Droitwich Spa is the nearest railway station. Monday to Friday, you can catch a bus there not far from the electrically-operated park gates.
Currently available for sale at Hanbury, where the minimum age is 50, are two previously-owned homes: a 2010 40x20 Omar Jacana costing £199,000 and a 2010 50x22 Omar Cambridge, £220,000. Plot fees are £136.67 per calendar month
