Everglade rises to new heights

"WHEN this old world starts getting you down," go the words of the classic pop song, "there's room enough for two up on the roof..."

Now top park and leisure home manufacturer Tingdene has proved the truth of that assertion with the first leisure lodge to feature a roof terrace.

The Everglade will be on display for the first time during a preview week at Tingdene's show centre at Wellingborough, Northants, on February 6-11, and is being formally launched at the Boat, Caravan & Outdoor Show at Birmingham's NEC from February 18- 26.

The fully-enclosed roof terrace is reached by a spiral staircase from the dining area. It is large enough for a good size patio set, or ideal for sun bathing, and is equipped with LED lighting for nighttime use.

A smaller version of the home, called the Beachcomber, will also be available, with many of the same luxury features.

Both models utilise modular build technology that the company has also adopted to produce new, sectional, two-storey housing, also on view at Wellingborough.
