Just seven miles from the sea, at Cardigan Bay in west Wales, sits a holiday park with its own health and country club.
Cenarth Falls Resort is named after the Cenarth waterfalls that are just a few minutes’ walk from the park. Cenarth village is famous for its sixteenth century bridge that spans the River Teifi. It’s a popular spot for fishing and, in late summer and autumn, salmon can be observed leaping up the waterfalls.
The park is three miles from the historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn, in the county of Ceredigion, famous for its woodland river valleys and coastal scenery.
The resort is the latest addition to the Boutique Resorts group. The exclusive development is surrounded by mature trees and all of the plots have WiFi and parking spaces for two cars. The park’s Bar Lolfa and Spa features a gym, plus a swimming pool with a Jaccuzzi, a sauna and a steam room.
Cenarth Falls Resort, in common with the other two resorts in the Boutique Resorts group, Fishguard Bay Resort and Maesmawr Farm Resort, has a 250-year licence agreement for every lodge. Buyers can offset costs by subletting, if they wish; Boutique Resorts has a fully managed sublet scheme.

This resort, close to spectacular Fishguard Bay, on the Pembrokeshire coast, has stunning sea views. It is in a region of cliffs, beaches and coves, perched on the most westerly point of Pembrokeshire.
It’s in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, a region renowned for its spectacular views, sunsets, wildlife including dolphins – and for being Britain’s only coastal national park.
This is a perfect place in which to escape from the strains and energies of work life; complete relaxation is guaranteed in this stunning environment of nature and scenery. Pembrokeshire is a walker’s paradise, with more than 600 miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore. There are over 200 circular routes, ranging from many walks of less than two miles, to half-day walks that take in both coast and countryside.
Historically a land of fishing and farming, of small coastal villages and Neolithic settlement remains, Pembrokeshire is a fascinating region. Place names reflect the Viking influence, notably the wild islands of Skokholm and Skomer, home to flocks of Manx shearwaters, puffins and storm petrels, that lie off the southwest Pembrokeshire coast. Both islands can be visited for day trips and overnight stays.
At any of the Boutique Resorts, buyers can exchange weeks with owners of a lodge at one of the other parks, if they fancy exploring a new area.
Maesmawr Farm Resort, Powys

An enclave of relaxation surrounded by meadows and rolling hills, and with the River Severn meandering its way from its source not far from the park, Maesmawr Farm Resort is an enchanting place. The 27-acre park is a short walk from the village of Caersws, in the county of Powys. It’s six miles from Newtown, the largest town in Powys. At Caersws, you can join the Severn Way that follows the river from source to sea; walking is a major attraction here, together with mountain biking, fishing and clay pigeon shooting.
Caersws was the Roman capital of Wales, and artefacts from that period have been unearthed in the village. Nearby villages, of Tudor architecture, are a delight to visit, together with the medieval fortress of Powis Castle and Garden, for fascinating art collections from India, Asia and Europe.
