Knaus announces partnership with MAN

This year, Knaus is celebrating 30 years of motorhomes, but that’s not the biggest news as it has just announced a partnership with MAN.

MAN, which is known for its large trucks, is now forging ahead with the production of the MAN TGE, the company’s first light commercial vehicle. This TGE model (based on the VW Crafter), will underpin a new range for Knaus called Van TI Plus. The beauty of this new range is that it can be ordered with front wheel drive (standard), rear wheel drive or all wheel drive.

There will be two floorplans, the 650 MEG with single beds and the 700MF with a French bed, both with the narrower Van Ti body. The basic model comes with emergency braking and hill assist functions as standard while you can order a whole host of otpions like cross wind assist, ESP and ABS, lane departure warnings, fatigue recognition, high beam assistant and cruise control among other things.

Models also get Knaus’ new Cat Eye rear tail lights with led ‘blinker bar’ turn indicators and the new design of habitation door.
