Action Mobil, an Austrian company that specialises in converting all-terrain campervans and motorhomes, has introduced the Temet 3600 to its line-up. This new model is much shorter than the company's other offerings with a 3.6m body length excluding the cab.

The new model was developed for a customer who wanted an Action Mobil but in a much more compact length. The model produced was built on a Unimog chassis, although others are possible. This model offers bed, full dinette, kitchen and washroom (with shower), but the options and specification are very much up to the end customer as each model is custom-built.

Depending on the specification, the starting price is around €232,436 excluding VAT and the chassis. This includes things like the installation of the body onto the chassis, work to the cab to allow access to the habitation area, dust protection on door locks, ladder for access, stainless steel sink, gas hob, ventilated gas bottle locker, fire extinguishers and blankets, document safe, battery monitoring system and B2B charger, solar panels and MPPT regulator, 130-litre compressor fridge freezer, LED lights, 200-litre fresh water tank (with Gardena-type filling attachments), black water tank with vacuum blower, 140-litre grey water tank, water purification system, 5kW Webasto diesel heater, underfloor heating, sand ladders and much more.

As a guide the chassis could cost from €25,000 for a used Unimog U1550 L, €85,000 for a new MAN TGM 13.290 4x4 BL (short wheelbase), up to €120,000 for a new Unimog U 4000.
