The L 3009 has a broadly similar layout to the L 2009, featuring rear twin beds (of a similar size) over a garage, but gains an extra 40cm in length, allowing a larger kitchen with 140-litre fridge. As with all the Ecovip range, it is based on a Fiat Ducato chassis-cab with enlarged rear track, ESC, Hill Holder, Crosswind Assist and Trailer Stability Control System.

All models in the range also have a body with aluminium sides, glass-fibre roof, polyurethane wall and roof framework and polystyrene foam (XPS) insulation.

The most compact model in this high-quality low-profile range, the L 2009 is just 6.59m long. Despite that, it features generous rear single beds (1.97m and 1.85m long), as well as a lounge with an L-settee and single side seat. The twin beds feature ergonomic high-comfort, anti-mite, breathable mattresses with machine-washable stetch linings.

Like the larger models in the line-up, it has a kitchen with automatic soft-closing drawers, while there’s excellent interior headroom of up to 2.05m.

The first double bed model in the range, the 6.99m-long L 3010 has a transverse bed (2.05m by 1.40m) above its rear garage. As with other models, it is also offered with an optional electric drop-down bed over the lounge – here, that bed measures 1.86m by 1.39m.

Another benefit of the more space-saving bedroom arrangement in this model is a larger lounge, with a double side seat as well as the nearside L-settee. It also has a large (140-litre) fridge and generous water tanks (100 litres each for fresh and waste).

Ecovip L 3019

Bedroom storage space inside the 3019

Like the L 3009, the L 3019 is a 6.99m motorhome with rear single beds. Here, though, the washroom and kitchen swap sides, so here it’s an L-shaped galley on the nearside (the L 3009 has a straight kitchen unit) and a combined toilet/shower compartment on the offside.

Another benefit here is a double sink, while the fridge (again) is a 140-litre model with automatic energy selection.

Furniture in the Ecovip low-profiles is available in either Rovere Moka or Pero Toscana finish. A choice of five upholstery styles is also offered and each boasts ergonomic cushions with removable covers for practicality. Above the lounge is a maxi panoramic rooflight (unless the drop-down bed is specified) and all models have an overcab Skyview sunroof.

The ’DS’ here reflects that this is the first model with a double sofa lounge, where face-to-face settees have a folding table in between. The L 3412 DS is also the smallest model – at 7.20m – to feature an island bed. The bed here measures 1.90m by 1.50m and it can be ordered with electric height adjustment as an option. As with other Ecovips, heating comes from a 6kW Truma Combi.

Ecovip L 4009

The bedroom inside the 4009

Moving up to the biggest, 7.40m, length in the Ecovip range, the L 4009 is one of two models at this size with twin beds. That extra length allows the shower (on the nearside) to be quite separate from the toilet room (offside), with the two combining to create a full-width en suite. Bedroom walls are trimmed in faux leather, and anti-condensation walls and ventilation in the furniture are designed for an ideal spread of heat.

The lounge in this model has an L-settee and a single side seat. The TV compartment can accommodate up to a 32in screen. The kitchen here has a 153-litre fridge, as well as the scratch and fingerprint-resistant worktops and indirect galley illumination of all models. Metal fittings in the kitchen and washroom are another premium touch.

Ecovip L 4009 DS

If you prefer the more open-plan lounge of a face-to-face seating design, then the ‘DS’ version is the model to choose.

At 7.40m long, this spacious motorhome has rear single beds that are each over 2m in length. It also has a split ablutions layout, but here the shower is on the offside, the loo room on the nearside.

At this size, you might want to consider the Heavy chassis upgrade (4,400kg), which is offered on all but the smallest model in the range.

The final model in the range combines a rear island bed (1.90m by 1.50m with optional electric height adjustment) with the ‘DS’ face-to-face lounge up front.

As with every Ecovip, it has a single level floor throughout the living area, as well as features such as a shoe locker in the entrance and wardrobes with integrated lighting.

Typical of the line-up, it has a garage with non-slip flooring, heating, adjustable load hooks and a 250kg weight limit. Of course, the double floor is heated, too, and the waste tank comes with an electrically opening valve.
