About Coachman
Founded in 1986, Coachman Caravans has a long history of producing upmarket touring caravans at its factory in Hull. The company was subject to a management buyout in 2016, with MD, Elliot Hibbs, taking over from his father, the late Jim Hibbs.
In 2018, the Swedish caravan and motorhome manufacturer, Kabe, took a 21.5% share in the English company and this was followed in February 2021 by the acquisition of all the remaining shares in the business in a deal said to be worth £15.7m.
At the 2022 Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show, Coachman launched its first ever motorhomes, the Mercedes-based Travel Master range, which is built in Sweden. More ranges are expected to follow in due course

Coachman is a relative newcomer to the motorhome market, but one with an impressive reputation for style, luxury and quality amongst its existing caravan customers.
Therefore, any motorhome has to live up to this, too, and the new Travel Master range doesn’t disappoint, with two layouts on offer that have been designed specifically to meet the demands of the UK market.
This Travel Master 545 has an island bed at the rear and space for four people to travel and sleep. Starting at the back of the model, the bedroom features an elevated island bed with large mattress and fantastic lighting. It features USBs to charge your phone, and dual wardrobes to either side. A great detail here is a switch to turn off all the living area lights from the bedroom!
The fully equipped kitchen contains a microwave, 177-litre Dometic fridge/freezer, separate grill and oven, plenty of storage and more, providing everything needed to create your favourite meals while away.
The spacious washroom can be blocked off and used as an en suite if preferred and, being positioned next to the rear bedroom, a concertina screen can be used to keep the bed space private.
It offers mirror-fronted cabinets with vanity sink and cassette toilet. Opposite the washroom is the separate shower. The lounge feels spacious, positioned at the front of the vehicle, with its side sofas and no fixed table.
The offside settee converts quickly into a forward-facing pew for two rear passengers. It has a drop-down bed for the other two berths and also plenty of practical storage.
Being over 8m long, it has ample living space and the specification is generous, including an exterior shower, 140W solar panel, BBQ, air-conditioning, reversing camera, sat-nav and also the option to add an awning for an extra £1,300.

Similar to the 545, the Travel Master 565 can travel and sleep four with a drop-down double bed in the front and fixed twin single beds in the back.
The rear beds have padded headboards, reading lights, speakers and three steps leading up to them. Between the beds there is a useful shelving unit, USB power points and a light switch for the main living area.
Moving through the motorhome, the generously sized washroom can again be used as an en suite if desired.
The dining area has a free-standing table that slides in and out of its cupboard, using the motorhome’s space wisely, and creates the perfect area for dining, games or a glass of wine in the evening.
At the front is the spacious lounge, which is very similar to the 545, with a drop-down double hidden above and side sofas with swivel cab seats. It also, again, has plenty of storage space.
Both models feature a generous rear garage with tie-downs, sockets and more shelving. Other features that are included as standard are a solar panel, exterior shower, BBQ and TV points, air-conditioning, and all this on a Mercedes Al-Ko chassis.
