Scotland's tourism minister, Fergus Ewing, has shone the national spotlight on Nairn Lochloy Holiday Park near Inverness during Scottish Tourism Week.

The minister joined local councillors on the park, which is owned by Parkdean Holidays, during a week-long tourism celebration.

Located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, 15 miles from Inverness, Nairn Lochloy offers a choice of caravan holiday homes, on-site entertainment, an indoor swimming pool and access to a wealth of beautiful places.

"I welcome the opportunity to visit this impressive holiday home and caravan park,” commented Mr Ewing, “The Nairn beaches are some of the best in Scotland and my family and I regularly visit them and enjoy the local food and shops around the marina.

"The holiday home and caravan park sector are playing their part, not only in providing good quality accommodation for all types of visitors but also helping to sustain employment in some of our remotest and most rural areas.”

Parkdean has invested £1.9m in its six Scottish parks for 2015, from Southerness in the south of Scotland to Dornoch in the north of Scotland.
