All change at South Devon park

There has been a combined holiday and residential park at Otter Valley in South Devon for several decades, with the plots split equally between the two.

But now this park, located just one mile from the centre of Honiton, is being converted into an all-residential estate complying with the Mobile Homes Act.

Out will go all the leisure lodges sited on one half of Otter Valley. They are being replaced with 37 twin-unit park homes, all 20ft wide but ranging in length from 40ft up to 56ft.

Each will be provided with parking alongside as well as its own ‘generous private garden’

The monthly plot fee is £219 and homes, available both new and in pre-owned form, cost from £120,000. For example, a new 42ft x 20 Oakgrove Special is priced at £179,500. Various makes and models are on offer.

The minimum age at Otter Valley, which offers views of the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is 50.
