2012 Park Home Roadshows Announced

c14bd29b-10ed-44f9-a80d-cf18a24b932c
The first roadshow will be held in Stafford on Thursday 8 March at the Mercure Stafford South Hatherton House Hotel.

Chaired by Towergate’s Park Home Account Director, Paul Baker, the panel of speakers will be; founder of the Park Home Owners’ Justice Campaign and park home resident, Sonia McColl, park home legal expert, Graham Watts, Conservative MP for Stafford, Jeremy Lefroy, who has taken an active interest in park home related issues, and Alan Savory MBE a leading member of the Independent Park Home Advisory Service (IPHAS) for whom he is a senior consultant and Government liaison representative.

The second event will be held in Cornwall on Thursday 31 May at the Kingsley Village Conference centre near Newquay.

Speakers will be Sonia McColl, Cornwall’s Senior Trading Standards Officer, Martin Fisher, who has been particularly concerned with park home related issues, Liberal Democrat MP for St.Austell & Newquay and member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Park Homes, Stephen Gilbert and Chairman of St Dominick’s Park Residents Association, Tony Turner.

It is anticipated that both events will be very well attended; indeed the roadshow in Poole in September was fully booked. Admission is free but tickets must be secured in advance as they will not be available on the day. Both events start at 3.00pm, with presentations from the panel followed by a Question & Answer session, and finish at 5.00pm.

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival and a number of companies offering services to park home owners will have stands at the event.

If you would like to be at the roadshow, please e-mail [email protected] with your name, addresses, daytime telephone number, stating which roadshow you would like to attend, plus any question you would like to ask the panel.  Alternatively telephone 0844 8921417 and ask to speak to Paul Baker or Shiv Kalia.

Further roadshows are being planned for later in the year, please e-mail Paul Baker for further information or visit www.parkhomeownersclub.co.uk
