A park with something for everyone

It’s not often that you come across a park featuring not just caravan holiday homes but also residential park homes as well. But that is the case with Croft Farm Park near Bodmin in Cornwall.

Situated just outside the little village of Luxulyan, three miles from St Austell, it divides naturally into three sections with park homes in the centre and caravans on either side. There is even a little shop on site.

All of the home owners benefit from the quiet, wooded, rural setting. They all also benefit from its easy access to the village shops, pub and post office less than a mile away. And everyone is likely to value the park’s proximity to the Eden Project, just one mile away; not to mention the beaches at Carlyon Bay a little further on.

When I visited there were new and previously-owned holiday caravans for sale with prices starting at £13,000 as well as a few vacant plots on a new development. The site licence is for 15 years.

The residential park is unusual in having no minimum age limit so children are welcome as are some pets.

There is a large recreation area as well as dog walks in the surrounding wooded countryside. So no shortage of opportunities for country walking.
