PITCHING
Appropriately for a shelter made by the people behind the world’s lightest tent, the Hoolie 6 comes in a tiny pack, weighing less than 7kg. It’s simple to pitch, with colour-coded poles to ensure you can’t go wrong.

LIVING
The Hoolie 6 has small living area situated between the two bedrooms. It’s not huge but would suit an outdoors-loving family for a short break and there’s room to stand upright inside. More living space can be created by removing either of the bedrooms and you can add an optional groundsheet.

SLEEPING
The larger of the two bedrooms is designed to sleep four, although for more space and comfort, two (and possibly a younger child) might be more realistic. The front bedroom accommodates two. Either can be dropped to create more space.

OUR VIEW
A lightweight tent that is ideal for shorter trips for families who are looking for something with more technical spec than a ‘normal’ family tent but still value space and headroom. The living space isn’t huge but does provide somewhere to shelter out of the weather. The big selling point here is the small packsize. It makes it easily portable, fitting effortlessly into the car boot unlike some of mega tents we are becoming used to.
