Who is the Vango Anantara III Air TC 650XL for?

Families who need plenty of space on longer holidays

What’s the Vango Anantara III Air TC 650XL like?

It’s hard to believe it’s a decade since Vango launched the AirBeam range of tents – the first mainstream inflatable family tent. Initially dismissed as a gimmick, it revolutionised family camping. And over the last 10 years Vango has led the way with its technology. The new S.I Pro single-point inflation system takes it onto a new level.

It features on the new Vango Anantara III Air TC 650XL, a six-man inflatable that is the epitome of lavish camping.

The new technology works by allowing you to inflate the tent with a handheld or electrical pump via one single valve. The air is distributed to the beams but is automatically prevented from escaping by a valve hidden inside the tube. If one beam is punctured or opened then the other beams are not affected and the tent remains standing. Each beam has its own deflation valve, to make packing away quicker.

Before you even get inside, the technical cotton flysheet, coupled with tinted windows and skylights, give a feeling of sheer luxury. The near vertical walls of the Villa Construction style maximise floorspace inside, meaning more room for furniture. Another new feature is the Climate Pro Window, a three-layer construction of mesh, curtain and PVC.

The integrated front awning is fitted with a multipurpose front door, that allows the space to be converted from an enclosed conservatory to an open-fronted porch. At the back of the tent, the spacious, extra-dark ‘Midnight’ bedrooms keep out morning light.
