WHO’S IT FOR?
Perfectly sized for couples but with the awning attached, there’s extra living space that could be used by a couple of kids.

WHAT’S IT LIKE?
The versatility of the Trekky, exclusively available in the UK from Manchester-based dealer Camperlands, is what makes it stand out from the crowd. And it’s not just for holiday time. There are four ways ways to use it in total. For quick overnight and weekend stops you can set it up with the cabin alone – providing a raised double bed and decent living space. With the sun canopy added, you have extra sheltered, outdoor living space. And when you attach the full awning, it’s perfect for longer holidays. Finally, when you’re not using it as holiday accommodation, it’s easily modified to use as a domestic trailer, so you make use of it all year round.

Setting up is easy – the cabin opens out like a pram hood to create the main sleeping and living area. The large, raised double bed has a 10cm thick mattress making it extremely comfortable and the sleeping compartment has windows and ventilation on three sides. There’s a large storage area under the bed as well. Even before you add the awning, the living space, which has a sewn-in groundsheet, is big enough for a couple of chairs and a table. It also has a big side panel with mesh backing that can be fully opened in hot weather.

If there’s two of you and you’re only stopping for a night or two, then that might be all you need. But for a longer stay you’ll probably want more room and that’s when you’ll want to add the sun canopy or awning. It’s pretty easy to fit and provides plenty of additional living space, as well as somewhere to set up your camping stove. And if you have any extra campers with you, this area could also be used for sleeping.

Made from heavy duty polycotton ripstop material and with strong zips throughout, the Trekky is designed to ensure you’re not only protected from the elements but stay warm at night and cooler during the hotter days.

WHAT’S GOOD?
It’s very quick to set up and can be ready to use in 10 minutes. The Trekky’s versatility is a huge plus. Constructed from high quality, durable materials. Can be converted to a trailer when not being used for holidays.
