WHAT’S IT LIKE?
Khyam continues to command a strong presence in the tent market after more than 30 years and a lot of that is down to its unique Quick Erect pole system.

The technology that underpins the system offers pitching and striking speeds that the company insists, inflatable systems cannot match.

Being competitively priced is also a key element of the Khyam story. The Explorer builds on the success of the Khyam Freelander. Boasting a fully sewn in groundsheet, generous panoramic front windows, excellent ventilation, a spacious living area and an optional front canopy.

The living area is reasonable spacious and surprisingly bright, despite the dark coloured flysheet. The three doors (front and two sides) have PVC windows and are designed to be fully opened to create an airy living space. The front door can be used asa canopy or you can add an optional extension to make an outdoor cooking area.  

The bedroom is big enough for four, but it would beideal for a couple, with enough space for a double bed and some storage furniture. The large, zipped-off area at the back can be used for storage. There are low-level vents all around the sleeping and living areas as well as a large mesh panel at the back.

Additional features include the Khyam NiteLite zipped pocket, designed to house the optional Khyam Nitelite system. The Nitelite can be switched on and off by remote control from over 60ft away.
