Go System Scion and Sirocco

f57c10d9-1d74-40ed-887c-e0bc3183136b
SCION You have to admire the way that this lightweight, compact stove uses a ball joint to allow the burner to neatly fold down to minimise storage space. Of course, the pan supports fold back too, and these are serrated to prevent a pot slipping off.

The flame burns hot and I found it boiled a litre of water in 3mins 40secs – a tad slower than the quoted 2mins 50secs. But do not let this put you off – this is an excellent little stove for backpacking.

The Go System Dome Cookset is the perfect match for this product. To see our review of it click here.

SIROCCO The large footprint provides this remote-feed performance stove with the stability needed to take larger pots for group cooking. The serrated pan supports prevent pot slippage – feet and supports fold in for compact storage. The burner connects to the gas cartridge by a braided hose and screw-on flow-control. The powerful burner has precision flame control and a piezo igniter. I found it boiled a litre of water in 3mins 50 – just short of the quoted 3mins 45secs. It was tested in still air without using the supplied foil windshield.
