Drawn to the outdoors from an early age, Henry is made to meander through the British countryside, where slow walks, open landscapes and fresh air feel most at home.

The winners range from tents to sustainability, reflecting the wide-ranging innovation across the sector. Finalists were first selected by an expert judging panel at the Outdoor Trade Show in Liverpool, before progressing to the final stage.

The awards form part of an initiative launched by the Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) in 2025, designed to spotlight products that stand out for their functionality, material innovation, environmental impact and commercial viability.

OAL Camping Awards

The event precedes the Out & About Live Camping Awards 2026, continuing a busy period for industry recognition and highlighting the best tents, accessories and technical gear currently on the market.

The 2026 Camping Awards are on their way, celebrating the best innovation and design in the camping industry and highlighting the tents and accessories that stand out from the crowd.

Among the ten category winners, the judging panel selected the Rab Syclon XP 40 as ‘Product of the Year’, marking it out as the standout product across all entries.

They were then put forward to an online consumer vote between November 2025 and February 2026, with more than 1,300 votes cast by outdoor enthusiasts, adding a public-facing element to the judging process.
