The best camping equipment of 2026 has been revealed with the announcement of the Out & About Live Camping Gear Awards.

Our expert judges have assessed scores of products to find the kit that stands out from the rest, for both family camping and more technical lightweight outdoor adventures.

Now, after months of deliberation, the judges’ votes are in and it’s time to celebrate the best of the best.

Among the 2026 winners are innovations such as a foldaway coolbox, a 16cm thick sleeping mat and a king-size camping chair. The list of winners includes big-name brands like Vango, Outwell, Coleman and Campingaz.

As well as the winners, we have also named highly commended products in each category.
