Innovative new camping tent lighting sytem launched

An innovative new lighting system for tents has been launched by Danish camping manufacturer, Outwell.

The Outwell Light System provides integrated, dimmable functional lighting in selected tent and awning ranges.

OLS will be included in all Classic Air, Premium Air, Cardinal, Ambiente and Superior Air Touring models for 2026.

How does the Outwell Light System work?

The Outwell Light System features a 5mm LED light strip built into the tent’s HookTrack system.

A soft-touch, backlit switch offers three dimmable settings (100%, 50%, 5%) and is discreetly positioned for easy use in both air and poled tents.

All you need is a power source, and your tent is illuminated.

Two new Outwell tent ranges for 2026

Outwell is also launching two brand-new tent ranges for 2026.

The Ambiente Collection includes luxurious poled tents made from Outtex Airtech TC fabric, and the range includes designs for four to six campers
The Smart Tunnel Collection features pop-up tents for two or three campers. These tents feature dark inners to improve sleep comfort, good ventilation and an integrated vestibule for sheltered living or gear storage

What else is new from Outwell in 2026?

Overall in the 2026 range, there will be 14 new family tent models and more than 20 updates to existing models.

A heavy focus is also on sleep comfort, with new sleeping bags expanding the range with XL options and a selection of newly designed self-inflated mats.

The new 2026 Outwell furniture includes several different chairs and the accessories range features new coolbags, lighting and cooking gear.
