The winning camping tents in the Out & About Live Camping Tent Awards 2026 have been announced – including the prestigious Tent of the Year.

Our expert judges have travelled all over the UK and Europe to inspect dozens of new tents to help campers decide what to spend their money on.

Now, after months of deliberation, the judges’ votes are in and it’s time to celebrate the best of the best. We can reveal that the overall Tent of the Year is the Vango Edition 60 – a special edition family tent launched to celebrate Vango’s sixtieth birthday. New for 2026, the The National Motorhome, Campervan & Camping Exhibition will host a brand-new Camping Area, bringing tents to the show for the very first time.

Visitors will be able to explore tents from leading brands and award-winning exhibitors, all together in one place. From family tents and touring models to the latest camping innovations, it’s a fantastic opportunity to compare styles, discover new favourites and get inspired for the season ahead.

What are the awards categories?

The tent awards feature 13 categories, ranging from Best Lightweight Tent to Best Large Family Tent. As well as family and lightweight tents, the awards also cover trailer tents/folding campers and roof tents.
