Insuring your park home – a personal service

b383eec4-5737-47c1-a955-98fe43e8fb4a

Established in 1966, Cass Stephens has been offering comprehensive insurance, advice and service for all types of insurance for over 50 years and now employs 27 people. Cass-Stephens remains one of the few family-run insurance brokers in the county if not the UK.

The Parksure Department within Cass-Stephens was established in 1999 and has become integral to Cass-Stephens’ success. Since 1999 Parksure has become one of the leading Insurers in the park home and leisure industry.

Parksure Insurance, run by Matt Cass, son of Mike Cass who started Cass-Stephens in 1966, has carried across much of the ethos and many of the traits you would expect to find in an established family-run company.

Matt said: “I’ve been brought up in the insurance industry and have worked in the family business since I left school, some 28 years ago.”

“We know what our clients want, and they have come to expect great service from us and we aim to fulfil or exceed their expectations every time.”

“I know it sounds clichéd but treating our clients like human beings is key to Parksure’s ongoing success. With that in mind you won’t get one of these automated telephone systems with press one for this or two for that. You will either get hold of us or our answering service if we are closed/busy and we will ring you back as soon as we can.”

“We’ve gone even further, by refusing to have an automated quotation system. We want to actually talk to you, evaluate your needs, check that the cover suits those needs and answer any questions you may have. I’ve read and heard of too many horror stories where people have clicked the wrong button and taken out the wrong insurance or even worse removed details or claims because it makes the insurance more expensive. In those situations, you could find that your insurance is invalid and they wouldn’t pay out for any claims.”

“Our Park Home policy covers you for block sums insured of £400,000, for buildings and £40,000 for contents and is competitively priced. This year we’ve managed to incorporate boiler breakdown cover into our existing Park Home policy, so, should anything happen to your boiler, you should be covered. Please check our website for further information.”

“Last year we created Flamesure, an online Boiler Breakdown Scheme specifically designed for mobile homes, details of which can be found in this magazine or online at flamesure.co.uk
